Tcl roku tv wired connection not working.

Set it up with wired connection. I bought this product because i do not have access to wireless and would like to connect my 32 tcl roku tv to the ethernet no ethernet port on tv. Tcl roku tv loses wifi connection and then can t find any wifi networks jump to solution it s a known bug with the wifi disabling on the tcl and maybe other brands roku tv s brought on by a software update sometime between october and december. I restart roku device 10 to 15 times and also factory reset 3 to 4 times.

We have the exact same problem. I have no idea why. I have a 2019 roku smart tcl wireless tv 32s325 no ethernet. Did you figure out what was wrong.

Spend way to much time on figuring out why the tcl roku tv won t connect. I have a modem google wifi router and then the tv. Reviewed in the united states on january 24 2020. Not sure if this will confuse wifi software.

This product did not work even after restarting the tv. Having some wireless connection issues. With a 16mb connection i don t have a lot to spare and have always much preferred wired. Can also connect with phone hotspot but not with wifi or cable.

I don t have any serious complaints but at that price i may take the chance just to have something to do with all my spare ethernet cables. This option is only available on tcl roku 4k tvs. Just wondering if i can buy a roku ultra and use the ethernet port and then use hdmi cable to connect to tv and bypass the wireless. I test more than 3 router connections but every connection wired connection successfully and internet connection not work. Thanks for the information. But i test also wireless connection with the router it s working fine. And in most cases when a roku can t connect to the internet the problem isn t even with the roku itself but rather with the router other devices in your home or the connection settings.

Talked with roku support tcl support and centurylink support without any luck. Connect an ethernet cable coming from your router or modem to the tv. Sometimes it works sometimes it does not. At the back of your tcl roku 4k tv locate the ethernet port.

Confirm your software version and build. I don t show this issue before. We also have centurylink and same tv as you describe. I ve got this year s 40 tcl roku tv and my wireless experience sounds much like yours.
